Is that really the best way though? Maybe it'd be better to put the onus on your ad network? Tell them that these bad ads have gone on long enough, and they need to weed them out themselves, or you'll drop them? Kind of like how DVDTalkers have dropped this site because the problems ads haven't been addressed?

Going to throw this in this thread. Right now, on damn near every thread or page I'm on, the following sites are constantly re-loading in the background, and it must be from the ad network because forum.dvdtalk.com is the only tab I have open.
what is this shit?

I cannot fathom why IB hasn't changed ad networks by now. I frequent other forums that have ads and none of these problems exist there, so there have to be better options.

Dan, thank you for those. I've informed our ad and tech teams.
Kefrank we do rotate ad networks and turn them when we realize they are causing problems. But we don't always know which one IS causing the problems.
