I continue to get browser hijacks on desktop when in Incognito mode. I haven't gotten any recently when logged in properly.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I browsed for a bit on Firefox with UBlock Origins and I got no popups or annoyances. I think before with Chrome I did get problems on my phone.

Same thing with desktops, but I have more protection there.

This is some real bullshit. Is this a reputable site or one I should just abandon? Can barely look at the forums before being hijacked into free gift cards or other crap. Can't back out, have to close the tab and start over.

On mobile. Iphone & chrome.
Just got a redirect to another site. Not going to click on their bullshit, so closed Chrome and reopened it. Usually, I can click the Tabs button and close the ad before it reloads. But this one loads so fast, that it took me damn near 15 times to close Chrome, reopen, and click Tabs fast enough to stop it from taking over the browser again. Not cool.

Bullshit.

Same here. I rarely try and browse the site with my phone, and this will lead me to keep it that way. Can anything be done by the admins to prevent these crazy pop-ups?

Been getting hit with this "lucky winner" shit all night on the forums. (iPad IOS)

Strangely enough, I was hit first on another site (thedailybeast, I think) and I've gotten it again three or four times on the forum here. Possible cookie issue?

These ingmatic things kept popping up everytime I clicked on a thread or opened a thread in a tab here, rendering the forum unusable.

I tried to enable "restricted sites" and added ingmatic to the list, but that didn't work. It just redirected to a blank screen that said it was disabled.

After disabling restricted sites I enabled the NeverAds app I have and that seemed to do the trick. I don't really like NeverAds because it occasionally interferes with the functionality of some webpages, but it looks like I'll need to use it for the time being.

Opened up this thread in a tab to report that I've actually had a week or so without hijaaks, and the thread gets hijaaked. This usually signals that it'll now happen multiple times this morning, until I give up and go to another forum.

Yep, forum became completely unusable. Almost every click was getting the takeover.

This was iOS Safari, full site, not that crappy mobile version.

I switched to iOS Chrome and the first dozen or so tabs have been ok so far.

Yeah, I kept getting the same thing this morning so I googled that site and found another forum complaining about it, and someone said iBobi would look into it. Another IB site, I presume.

If you're on iOS, NeverAds seems to stop the redirects. They stopped immediately after I turned it on.

I know ad blockers are frowned upon, but when the ads are making the forum unusable, it's either that or stop coming here.

Thanks guys. We're trying to swat the ads down as we see them but they are being fed by our ad networks and it is a little dicey getting them removed. Keep posting screenshots. This is the best way for us to combat them atm.

If it keeps happening all the time with this ad network, is it time to maybe try to find a better ad network? Surely the amount of time you're spending fielding complaints and playing whack-a-mole with ads you don't even control and the amount of eyeballs and engagement time you're losing on this site (and I assume others) because of this problem that is getting no resolution from your ad network is worth more than whatever cost you might incur by choosing a different, better ad network partner?
