I saved a link to a post in that thread. Now I'm prevented from seeing it.

Just put it back on the forum with a lock and a comment pointing to next thread. If someone feels it's necessary, delete the last couple of pages.

As the thread is very long it turned out to be extremely time-consuming cleaning it up. Saves take forever. It was always intended that it return but it will take a while.

Someone's dust bustering the thread right now. It will return. I've seen a lot of edits that have had to be made so far.

If its so much work that it is taking this long to clean up, why not bring it back locked without deleting? Were there really so many offensive posts that there is not way this thread can be reinstated as is?

We should keep the photos in it, like a war memorial.
