I'm using the latest incarnation of IE8 (8.0.6) and am seeing some strange problems on seemingly random smilies. Take for instance this post: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/9389256-post661.html

In my IE8, the "eek" smilie is cut off a bit on the bottom and/or right side by the invisible box surrounding it. I've seen this on several other posts as well. In Firefox it appears noramlly (I know, "Just use Firefox then" ). <-- that one is suffering the same problem!

Anyone else been noticing this?

Guess it's just something up with my browser install.

Might be something to do with fonts or the size of the letters on your screen.

Genius! Somehow the default view zoom got changed to a custom level. I set it back to 100%, and although it didn't change much at all, the smilies went back to normal. Thanks!
