I'm sure people will throw a fit...
...about this complaint, since it seems to be some sort of geeky little "internet clique" deal, but the same avatar being used for 10-15 different people is annoying and distracting. Kinda defeats the purpose of being able to use them. I'm sure someone will reply telling me to disable them, but I'm paying for a subscription to use my own, so I really don't feel that that's a viable solution.
Just wanted to point this out.

I don't pay for avatars because I think it's pretty stupid, but seriously? You're complaining because some people are all using the same avatar? Wow.

You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
x Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Yep, still unchecked.

Ah but then he wouldn't be able to see his avatar.

I guess being told I am part of a clique when the person telling me that is also part of it is funny to me.
Lighten up. No one killed your dog or cat. we just had a bit of fun to liven up an otherwise boring day.
Sure you may have not enjoyed it- move on disable avatars for a day and let people have a tad bit of fun.
I guess you are now reporting people.
Good times
