It's a fair question, but does having an avatar really matter?

You're overestimating your status.

Well isnt all that 'legend' and 'hero' under our name a status? I could care less and it was the only reason I saw that people had avatars and I didnt have the option. I was looking at this thread where I see lots of em, youre telling me all these peeps are premium members? They dont have that little disc symbol...

They are premium members. The Video Game Talk template needs to be modified to show the premium member symbol. You'll see it in other forums.

It was mentioned that the disc symbol doesn't currently display in the videogame sub-forum. Plus, there will apparently be a contest for a new premium "symbol".

EDIT: Blah, curse you, X!

It would have been cool, but now you've gone and ruined it by asking for it.

That's like coming up with your own nickname.

I not only turned off the avatars, I also adblocked the little disc symbol thingie next to people's names. So premium, not premium, whatever, y'all look the same to me now. (Except for those with a countdown in their sig, of course)

Nothing says "I'm cool" better than an ironic GIF under one's username.

For saying someone should make the OP's quote a signature?
