Why do all these people have Avatars now?

How come Im seeing all this crap; Ive seen mods and reviewers before but now people with lower statuses than me? What the hell!

Well isnt all that 'legend' and 'hero' under our name a status? I could care less and it was the only reason I saw that people had avatars and I didnt have the option. I was looking at this thread where I see lots of em, youre telling me all these peeps are premium members? They dont have that little disc symbol...

They are premium members. The Video Game Talk template needs to be modified to show the premium member symbol. You'll see it in other forums.

It was mentioned that the disc symbol doesn't currently display in the videogame sub-forum. Plus, there will apparently be a contest for a new premium "symbol".

I not only turned off the avatars, I also adblocked the little disc symbol thingie next to people's names. So premium, not premium, whatever, y'all look the same to me now. (Except for those with a countdown in their sig, of course)
