Posted this in the Other thread before I knew about this one:
Searching seems to suck even more now. Today I'm going to compile a list of upcoming DVDs that I want (Iron Man, The Big Lebowski, The Incredible Hulk, "30 Rock", "The Office") and their release dates, so I searched for their respecitve existing threads.
5 different searches in the main forum - "iron", "lebowski", "hulk", "office", "rock" - each at least the standard 20 seconds apart. Got the same reslut every time: "1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
Weird.

I just performed a search using the terms "iron", "lebowski", "hulk", "office", "rock" and I could get quite a few results for each search. So could please tell try again and if you still get the error could please tell me which page were you searching from. The only problem with the search at present is that the pop up box does not pop up on a few pages and we are looking into it.

It's not in every thread though, like this one I'm posting in now.

I just searched for the same titles, and the only results I got were from '02 and earlier.
This wont be a problem if I went back in time and haven't realized it yet. I'll look into that and update later.

Otter Farm has an error at the top of the page. Looks like some stray HTML.

"iron" - one thread (a locked upcoming release list from 2006)
"lebowski" - no matches
"hulk" - no matches
"office" - no matches
"rock" - two threads (the current Evil Dead thread and one compiling a list of defective DVDs)
It probably goes without saying, but I did not use quotation marks in my searches.
My browser is IE 6 and my OS is XP.
(Yeah, I prefer Firefox, but I'm at work and they don't like us downloading programs on these computers.)

I tried starting a discussion via a review (Dexter) and got an error:
The following error was encountered:
*Don't know if the database statement is needed, but I thought I should remove it*
1017: Can't find file: '*removed*' (errno: 13)
I also got a similar error when clicking a review link at the top of the page, but now I can't remember which movie it was because others I've seen have worked so far.

We'll get new features eventually, and this was just the first step towards that. First get to the point where all existing features work with the new version and then start adding new features...
