IB has been notified, but it will probably take until Monday for them to fix this.

I have big titted bitches in green underlined links. Kind of want to see where that sends me.

Also have this annoying crap.

Even "Contextual Adverising" is hyperlinked. Delightful.

Re: Contextual Advertising on DVD Talk

Hopefully, this isn't permanent. I saw this stuff early this morning. I opened a page and it was fine. I posted a comment and then there it was. Looks worse on my phone.

Advertising to me is fine with me. Using my own words to do so is not.

YES, when my own post is being used for annoying ads, that makes it particularly aggravating.

Like the word SIAM in my signature.

My phone does. It's not obscenely large on my laptop.

How do I get rid of infolinks?

All of a sudden I'm getting those annoying infolinks. I followed the link and clicked opt-out but it didn't help. I also went into the security setting and added it to the list of blocked sites. Didn't help. Right now it appears it's only affecting dvdtalk.

Re: How do I get rid of infolinks?

It's an issue with the site. There's a thread in the feedback forum about it, and they're supposed to try and fix it on Monday.

Or maybe they will keep them.

Pretty lame that Internet Brands doesn't keep internet hours.

We've seen over and over that this site is an afterthought for them. Sad.

Re: Contextual Advertising on DVD Talk

Thank you. I clicked on the link and followed the few simple steps for IE. Didn't have to download anything. Just had to add them to my block list.

Re: How do I get rid of infolinks?

I was out of town this week and noticed the green links on my iPad. When I booted up my computer at home this weekend all my browsers were hijacked by this StartNow adware/malware thing. I tried uninstalling and it is impossible to remove. I am extremely safe on this computer, so I feel like it was delivered through one of these infolink ads somehow. Is that possible? Did this happen to anyone else?

How can I get rid of this StartNow crap? My google search bars are all "StartNow" search bars, and the homepage was redirected to some StartNow address. It's not really doing anything, there is no system process I can find, no browser extensions, and full scans with Malwarebytes detect nothing. All the info online about this is dated.
