I find it a little funny in the second page of a thread about how much this ad sucks, the ad is actually running three times simultaniously. Subtle it ain't.

This ad couldn't have showed up at a more perfect time for DVDTalk.

I'm curious to know how quickly the new owners will respond to this. In the hayday with Geoff, he'd have responded and gotten rid of the thing in one or two days...

Just curious if you've seen it. The DVD got a "recommended" from DVDTalk and I've actually wanted to see it since it was removed from the AfterDark'08 lineup.

i have never hated a movie more than this one in my lifetime...

Seriously you guys, download the AdBlock Plus (and filter.set) add-on from the FireFox website. It will block EVERY ad on pretty much EVERY website. Even though the DVDtalk head-honchos will NEVER know that you are using it, you should still turn it off when browsing the forum (it's against the rules) like I do. -wink-

Ad-blockers still violate the DVDTalk TOS, right? I'm too lazy to look. I use Safari and the ads are silent (still moving though) so I'll live.

I still find it pretty humorous that a paying advertisement for a torture porn flick is still A-OK around here despite the recent changes.

I guess I'll have to turn the DVDtalk filter off on my ad block software. -wink-

I'm not going to hold this insane ad against the makers of the film because I do want to see the movie and I plan on buying it this weekend.

I blame DVDTalk for allowing such an annoying fucking ad in the first place. What the hell is happening here, my head's been in the clouds lately but I had no idea DVDTalk was sold and Geoff is no longer around. Is that what all of this family friendly BS whining is about?

Yep, I saw it. A friend of mine bought it after Borders broke street date on it. The gore may there but the characters are completely annoying and just ruin what could have been a great horror film.
