Ignoring Signatures?

Is it possible to ignore signatures for certain users without actually ignoring the user or ignoring all signatures?

No offense mean, but I don't need religion mixed in with video game threads or with DVD / HD threads, etc.

I also don't need to be reminded of certain sad and/or morbid events because of signatures.

Thanks

I don't think so. I just ignore the user.

Umm...can't you just not read the signatures? I never do, except for Groucho's, because his are always somehow pertinent to my life.

Depends on the signature, some just stand out too much to fully ignore.

Just don't look at it. That's what I do with people who post their lame video gaming tags and useless info about HD formats.

don't disable them. then you won't be able to know who doesn't condone the placement of ads in their posts.

I barely pay attention to them, even my own. I can't really recall the last time I actually read a thread without my attention being called to it (such as somebody mentioning a signature quote in regular post.)

My mom sometimes reads the threads here and was complaining to me about somebody's signature (which was about doing something cruel to a dog, but when I looked at it it looked like a quote from something else, not the user's actual quote) and I commented that I never even noticed it but for some reason she couldn't help but to notice it.
