P. O. Box, natch. ;)

Or ya'll could mail them to Bando's house. It's the little blue and white one on the corner. Wait... give me a bit and I'll post a cell phone picture.

I've been here a long time, and honestly by this point expected a lot more ads so I am ok with whatever makes this site run. But I don't think I have ever clicked an ad. Now I know back when I used to buy things online I did use ref. links a lo, but I don't spend money online much anymore.

The ads within the posts are really annoying to me also.

The ads between the first and second post were fine though.

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

I've been here a long time, never complained about ads, but these new ones suck!!!!!!

argh923 04-19-07 10:29 PM

One more "This is awful" vote.

Numanoid 04-19-07 10:43 PM

I pray to god that Miss Peach doesn't get wind of this.

Looks like you don't have to worry about him / her coming back:

I find the ads within the posts less intrusive than the ones in-between the messages. It's easier to read posts continuously rather than having breaks like that. Besides, I think it looks tidier (e.g., no huge "dead space" for a tiny ad in the middle of the screen).

damn_skippy 04-20-07 01:11 AM

The new ads suck.

I am sorry to say it but...This is absolutely terrible!!

Maybe it's my browser (Safari 2.0.4), but if a post begins with a quote and contains an ad, they overlap, making a chunk of the post pretty much unreadable. It's incredibly annoying.

I agree, but it's not just your browser. It's happening in IE as well.

Another "these suck" vote. :)

Trevor 04-20-07 06:30 AM

I'm all for ads if they keep us free here (although I would pay a small amount to be premium/ad free).

However, I strongly think the ads need to be completely outside of individual posts, or at least clearly marked as ads and separated by a line of some sort. I'm with Miss Peach on that.

flashburn 04-20-07 06:50 AM

This is crap, please change it back!

Quake1028 04-20-07 07:17 AM

Another vote for these suck, go back to the way it was.

Snowmaker 04-20-07 07:28 AM

I noticed this as it happened to me just now.

I don't mind the ads BETWEEN posts, but this crap of interjecting them INSIDE the posts really throws off the flow of reading the posts.

UncleGramps 04-20-07 08:02 AM

Yeah, this is pretty crappy. Do these ad companies just sit around thinking of new and exciting ways to annoy potential customers? I'd gladly pay a yearly fee to Geoff to avoid seeing ads in the forums if this is the direction we're heading.

Thunderball 04-20-07 08:08 AM

Edit : I love DVDTalk.

Groucho 04-20-07 08:17 AM

Note that it's against the TOS to run an adblocker at DVDTalk.
