question: I find it interesting that on the 'reviews' list the adult section has some quite blatant female nudity.. and that this is okay to display.

Yes it's ok to display as it's in the adult section of our site.

yet the adult section is an "18+ only" section. hmm, I sense a double standard here.

What double standard? We show adult box shots in our adult sections. Non-adult in our no-adult sections. None of our screen caps used in either reviews are explicit.

A perfectly reasonable approach to the issue.

I think he's talking about the fact that if you click on the main "review" tab at the top of the page, you're taken to a list of reviews, which include adult pictures of XXX dvd covers. I don't think most people would expect to be taken to adult pics from a friendly little "reviews" button. Doesn't seem like that should be an "adult section" of the site.

Ah. We'll I've pointed out several times that there are many links on the site which go direct to the category. The front page sidebar links direct to DVD only reviews. Same at the top of this forum under 'dvd reviews'.

The main review page also doesn't have any adult covers above the fold, you have to really scroll to get to them.

This is the way we've chosen to do these things.

While the XXX stuff may be "below the fold", it isn't below all of the mainstream stuff. I can't read the latest HD DVD or theatrical reviews without scrolling through pussy.

And I'm certainly not making a request here, but why are the all-male reviews picture free?

Just to be clear, there was a new mainstream documentary release about censorship with the name "Fuck".

More info here: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0486585/
