Oftentimes I'd like to edit a post, but when I get to the part where it says "Reason for editing post", I can never really come up with one or am too lazy to enter one, so I forget about it altogether. Anyone else like that?

I believe THEEK! has his own special reason pre-checked: "it's in the name, baby".
does the very mention of the name require me to overload this post with smilies?

I edit once in awhile. I love that I can edit anytime. Very different from my previous forum where you had around 90 minutes to edit a post before it was stuck in stone. I find the unlimited edit time to be especially helpful for list-based posts (ie- favorite albums of the year, etc).
