Email Notification "Quotes"
I've meant to bring this up for a long time. When a subscribed thread is posted to and an email notification is sent out, should it really have a quote in it of the post? On occasion, posts have to be edited for inappropriate content and while it can be caught in the forum quickly enough by either the original poster or a mod, a copy of it is sent out to all the subscribers. Just today, I got a notification from a thread where someone tried to post a picture from his own hard drive (you know, "[C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx xxxxxx\My Documents\My Pictures]"). Of course it didn't work, so the poster edited it. But now I have his real name in my email (the xxxx's). That one is realitively harmless, but in the past during flame wars, some posts that were quickly edited when either the original poster thought better of it or the Mods stepped in have been sent out to all the subscribers.
If a new post is in a thread, it's enough to tell me that something's new. I don't need to read it in my email and occaisionally, I shouldn't.
~Just a thought.

OK, today, I got an email notification from a thread that had a spoiler in it. The actual thread had the spoiler covered but the email didn't. As big a deal as people make over spoilers, this is another reason we don't need the emails to have the text of the post.
