Slowdowns going on for me all week. Other sites work fine.

Been getting a ton of lag today. Tracert from the last lag period a few minutes ago looks fine.

very slow today......

I did one of those traces as above and I get a bunch of time outs. I don't remember how to spool a dos window, so I can't post the results.

About an hour ago I couldn't access any parts of the forum for over 5 minutes, but the main site was fine. I actually closed my browser and did some work! [shudder]

We had a major database issue, so while we were restoring it there was quite a slow down. Should be ok now.

The dvdtalk home page doesn't load on my computer and I could only access this forum sing my history page. Is it my computer is or is there something wrong with DVDTalk?

It seems the ad server is screwed up and affecting the whole site. Is that it? I know next to nothing about computers.

There was a problem with our provider. All pages were completely down, or up at a point where it was almost unable to be used. It appears to be corrected now.

Where ads should be are network timeout messages. The site is unusably slow, but pages will load once the ads time out.

Getting hangs of 5 to 10 seconds today, then loads normally. Guessing it's something weird with my connections and the hangs in the Tracert are before dvdtalk, but every other site is loading normally....

There were some slowdowns around 10PM last night but it seems to be much better today.

I've told our hosting provider of the issue today

Seem to be back to normal now (7:45 pm).

I've noticed some very slow page loading during the last fifteen minutes

Only gotten a couple slow downs, and they weren't terrible, 10 seconds or so.

Really? I've had several 1 minute plus loads, although it is much better now.

I've not been on that much today, so I may have been lucky and just missed the bad hangs.

Getting all kinds of hands and even a couple time outs (lost a reply) the past 10 or 15 minutes (around noon EST).
