despite what the faq says.. the member rankings stop changing after 25,000

Doesn't matter to me since I'll never reach that plateau or even care what my title is.

And I highly doubt Jack gives a shit whether his title is changed. Although he might like being called Godfather.

"So, guess what"
"What?"
"Guess who became a DVDTALK God"
"A what?"
"I'm a member at DVDTALK and have posted 100,000 times and now have the title DVDTALK God"
"I'll see you later"

That must've been one long test.
It should still be removed from the FAQ if it's untrue.

Hey Everybuddy!
I might be actually going to live with the Lord today (I hear "The Peace Train" has a stop at every hospital), & if it's time for me to stay with Him, after I get settled in I'll ask Him what it took to get that rank, and I'll ghost-write Treesa, and she'll deliver the message through her DVD Talk member account.

Ive got a custom title.. so it doesnt show
but when i reached 50k, nothing changed automatically
it might be a little while before i hit 100k
but we'll see what happens then. (I assume my term in office will be over by then

I don't know the story of how he got the user title since he has less than 2,000 posts.
