I'll contact the ad agency in the AM... Something must be wrong with their flash files.

yeah this ad slows down my computer a somewhat (both work & home) but it's not as annoying as the 8 emails i got within the last 2 days from various sites. not to mention all the threads about this boxset...you'd think it was being released soon or something (sarcastic tone)???!?! with all this hype it almost makes me want to sit down for the first time and watch all three.

I just came to the Feedback forum for the first time ever to post this. It's really annoying.

I'm using Safari in Mac OS 10.2.8.

Now the goddamned ad is giving me a runtime error popup every time the stupid thing shows up. This is stupid - I'm all for ads to help run the place, but not when they start effecting perfomance like this.

How long do we have to put up with the damned thing?

Because it's DVDuesday, man!

The flash ads don't really slow my computer, but what annoys me is when I switch to another window and then back to the window with the flash ad, the cursor in the box disappears because the flash ad is stealing focus.

Oh - its even better: the ad loaded then crashed my browser (A diffrent computer than the one that was giving me the runtime errors).

Any word from the agency on just HOW much ass this ad sucks yet and what they intend to do about it?

I have three windows open.

It is on each of them.

What did I win?

(Funny how it's come up most often when I check this thread!)

When is this ad going? It's getting real annoying now, as it seems the chances of it popping up on a page seems to have increased.

How much are you getting for this particular ad? I'm sure we can get up a collection to replace any lost income if you just remove it. It's affecting me even worse than that SonicSwap ad from a few weeks ago.

Glad to hear that Geoff. It must have just been badly made as there has never been an ad you used before that did that.

So basically the solution was to just let it run its course?
So much for feedback.

No... The solution was try to get a fix from the agency and make changes where we could w/ the ad. If you look at the 2 ads on the front of the page they're NOT flash based on people's having issues.

Feedback is very important, but some issues can only be addressed by me and there's only ONE me.

Campaign is the right word for it, I feel like my PC has been under attack.

Thanks for checking it out for us Geoff.
