Am I the only one who thinks the icon for "Report Bad Post" should be changed to a rolled-up newspaper?

I like that I can now see the buttons (reply, quote, etc) without having to shut off my McAfee Internet Security.

I just noticed something new that I love:

When you get email letting you know someone responded to a thread you subscribed to, it includes in the email the actual message that was posted.

UWSarge 12-05-04 02:16 PM

I noticed on polls now, you can click on the results to see who voted for which option. So...no more anonymous voting....

i havent tried setting up a new poll yet
but i believe someone said thats an option you can setup when you start the poll

Big Worms 12-05-04 02:36 PM

Search This Thread option.

MasterofDVD 12-05-04 02:38 PM

It'll take some real time to get used to thins but I think I'll adjust. The links below the first post is the worst part of it so far.

I like everything about this new layout. Much cleaner IMO.

TomOpus 12-05-04 02:51 PM

Things are looking better with the tweaks Geoff is making.

its nice to be able to quick and easy send them a direct link

Agreed. This is something I had been hoping for.
I like the quote box better than the old way, but that's barely worth mentioning.

As someone else mentioned it's an option for whoever starts the poll.

Kal-El 12-05-04 05:50 PM

I'm lovin' it.

UWSarge 12-05-04 09:08 PM

After about a day of using it, I think I've gotten used to it. No real complaints with it and it'll be nice to be able to implement a paid membership system under then new software.

RayChuang 12-05-04 10:47 PM

I'm used to it, though.

Mostly because a number of forums I frequent switched to vBulletin 3.0.3 this past summer and I learned to adjust to using the new interface. -biggrin-

I was just checking this quick reply feature. I like it :)

I'm having more trouble adjusting to this upgrade than I did the last time... however, one thing I like is that when I search for threads I've posted in, it allows me to click on the various pages of the thread from the results when before it was just clicking on the link and then having to click on the last page.

Wizdar 12-06-04 02:11 PM

Looks like I spoke too soon about the buttons. They went away about an hour ago, including the buttons in "advanced" reply. This is suck.

But, at least I can still preview a post. (Am I the only one who does this?)

i wonder if its possible for premium membership to include buttons hosted on the main servers

i doubt thats something that can be seperated by user groups.. but it would be worth exploring.

I like a lot. The ability to take a quick reply and 'go advanced' without cut-n-pasting what you wrote.

The drop down search, quick links and tool boxes.

The ability to preview an edit.

The hover-over-title post preview.

There are a few things I preferred about the old setup, but overall I give it a big .
