I like how when you have your mouse over a thread, a little box pops up and shows what the first post says.

Also, the "Go to last post" button next to the last poster is pretty good.

okay... I like that... that you can link to an individual post without linking the thread... not sure why I'd ever want to use it since I think linking the post within the thread is more helpful (context and all), but it seems cool nonetheless...

It's not too bad. When you link to the individual post there's a link to the thread in the upper right hand corner if people want to go read it in context.

you were always able to link to a direct post.. but it was soo damn much work before

this way is great in my opinion..
there are times i will want someone to go check a specific post in a thread.. and they pretty much have to hunt for it

its nice to be able to quick and easy send them a direct link

Yeah, I mean, I have used the direct link to a post thing a lot before, but it always linked it within the thread... not seperated like this.... kind of cool (as an option)

No "report htis post to a mod" button

(that I've seen so far, any way)

Also, it appears that smileys are middle-aligned, not bottom.

It's the triangular icon to the left of the post with an exclamation point in it. It won't show up on your own posts.

You have always been able to view the forum 40 posts to a page. I've had that set up since forever.

As for new features, I love that you can uncheck "Show your signature" right in Quick Reply. This was something I've wanted for a long time now.

Is there a full list of the new features somewhere?

Are the buttons still hosted on a seperate site? ads.kleinman.con is blocked at my work. With the advanced quick reply, I don't have to worry if I've got my html tags correct.

I like being able to click on everyone's user name individually, rather then the Profile button before. A little cleaner.

There's a lot I don't like, but I do admit that the way quoting works now is pretty cool. If any of you bozos ever say anything worth repeating it'll really come in handy.
