But I thought there was a "no hard erections" rule, even in the mature forum?

There really are no longer any rules in the mature forum. Hell, if you can post fisting without a link, then I think anything goes.

Are you sure? I was just browsing the adult pics at livejournal thread, and I found a number of pics that were removed by Dead, citing:
[I think that one just goes too far. D-]

So apparently there is a line, but since Dead didn't leave a note as to what the offending pics where, how will we know when we cross it?

An aside... We're working on a more solid policy for the mature forums which will include the box art. Another adult forum has these rules and I think they're probably a good litmus:

Nudity without contact is ok
Above the belt touching and kissing is ok
No penetration of any kind - vaginal, oral, or anal - including fingers, toes, toys, sports equipment and household objects
No bodily fluids (or solids) - cumshots, pissing, squirting
No masturbation
No gapes
No sadistic or masochistic abuse

Also, I did remove the image in question from rotation.

What's a gape? Innocent old Buford isn't sure (unless that's a version of what the Gynecologist would see).

Spoiler:
A gape is when an orifice (generally the ass) is reamed for so hard, and so long, that it just kind of stays open, and you can see all the pretty red guts inside. i.e. the hole "gapes" open

Yes, adultdvdtalk is following these rules now. Probably a good idea due to the proposed new record keeping laws (section 2257) that could come in effect around Sept or so. It's a very good idea to cover your butt like that, because of this great new law that will somehow crack down on child porn (well that's the excuse they always give when they introduce some new anti-porn legislation) Anyway, in this current environment its very wise to have such rules and hopefully everyone will keep it in mind to help protect this site.

The images I removed included inappropriate, though quite possibly legal, images of young children. There was no nudity or actual sexual contact included, but in my mind there is absolutely no reason to have even implied sexual references to children in the forums here.
