With respect to some of the other threads - the links and/or email requests seemed to have at least some benefit to those who wanted to share their information. That's a lot different than someone who says send your email info in so I can win something. I'm sure if you're a moderator on another site as you've stated, and you most likely posted the same request there, you're getting plenty of votes.
