Instead of
"1 2 3 4 5 ... Last page"

How about
"1 ... 95 96 97" or "1 ... 95 96 Last page"?

This way you'll know how many pages are in a thread and it will be easier to come back and read long threads.

My first reaction, was "oh come on..." and then on second thought, yes, you are absolutely correct. A very good idea.

Agreed. Good idea. How may times do you really need to read page 3, but end up swimming all around trying to find page 12?

Sounds reasonable. Unless the last time you saw the thread it was only up to three pages and now is over 6. My guess is you'd want to read the new stuff first.

I just ran across a forum with this setup, it does make it nice when looking at a thread.
