Why was my thread deleted?

I can't seem to figure out how to ask this question directly or to whom. The "ouch" thread on other was deleted yet nothing was mentioned in it by any mods even after a page of replies. I'd just like to know what happened. Thanks.

I don't know what thread it was, but you could have used those handy dandy links that link to the moderators at the top of every page as you look at a sub-forum. From there you could PM or e-mail all of them or one and then they could find out for you.

Generally these types of messages seem to get locked here in feedback.

My guess is that someone complained about what they saw upon entering. And no it wasn't me, though it did make me cringe a bit.
Just a thought, nothing more.

Though I don't know for certain, that would be my first guess. Another possibility is that some of the pictures were being pulled from a site that we don't allow discussed.

So people can't host pictures from their personal sites? Or only some people?

If your talking about the pictures in her thread, I'm assuming that they were being pulled from sites that she dosen't own. There are probably a half dozen or more that we don't like members to use for a variety of reasons. If she was hosting the images herself, then the site likely wasn't the problem and I'd stick with my first guess about the reason.

I've been away too long to keep up with the rules. No more stealing pics... I'll try.... it's not easy... it's almost an addiction... ok... done... I'm ok...
