Dude, I get burned out re: these stupid back and forths as well. That's why I've cut back my posting in politicla thread about 80% or so. Still, deleting the thread probably wasn't the right move. I've brought this up before, and I still think it's something the admins should address (if it's possible). While it's good to be able to delete a thread for obvious reasons, IMO the thread creator doesn't "own" a thread. It belongs to the community. I don't know if it should go by a certain number of posts or a time duration or what, but there comes a point where the creator's ability to delete it needs to go away. Perhaps instead of deletion, a thread creator could close his own thread, at least maintaining the posts of others.

That doesn't work if you look at the stats from Australia. There are at least 300 suicides with guns every year in the country.

No, you did NOT address what Dave asked - not at all. You addressed the very first point - but only part of it. Dave was actually asking about Moore's fake subtitle he inserted to make it look like it was part of the original ad and help his "point". Moore later had to take this out for the home video release.

I don't know how you can excuse the fake subtitle - even Michael Moore thought it was a big enough "no-no" that he got caught doing that he took it out of the archive(Home Video) copy of his own film!
