I'll take Rocky Stallone over Danol any day of the week. The way he flips out you'd think he was a ninja.

I'm seriously surprised that this thread got to 2 pages without getting moved or locked (but I have to admit, I miss danol's wacky posts too. They made this place more colourful).

I do not miss Danol - especially how he used to send me personal hate-emails to my private account for having one of his unusual threads locked. Absolutely no excuses for that conduct.

Made me want to go back to the always friendly HomeTheaterForum.com.

He was doing this with a lot of people and it's my understanding that it's what got him suspended.

In a way, I miss danol too, the way anyone misses an archnemisis. But in the long run I think it's for the best.

I never got any of those hatemails, sounds like a good reason for suspension (or banning for that matter).

What I'm really curious to see is how long this thread can go before it gets moved to feedback, or locked.

I remember the time he called a guy a rip off for not accepting his really great offer in a trade. *Tear* Such young memories.

That was a classic. And then, when the trade was described, it was obvious why it was regected. Good times, good times!

Big Danol fan here, tis a shame to hear of his suspension. I must have slacked off on my Danol watching since I didn't even know about this.

Best. Poster. Ever.

I too miss him as well. But I really never got the hang of deciphering his verbiage.

Colourful is one way of putting it.

While wacky and unitelligible is DEAD ON.

Kinda like rushing downstairs Christmas morning to find the cookies / milk that you left for Santa uneaten.

I didn't know about this, so I am retracting my previous post.

*sigh* I got here too late to enjoy the Danol experience... So why don't we bring him back just so I can see what this guy's all about?
