I was thinking maybe that we should have one this year. (like that other forum) I did it last year and man it was a blast. So Geoff, you think we could try to schedule an Oscar chat this year for the entire show?

What are you basing this comment on? DVDTalk has very open and lenient rules and is moderated as loosely as any professional site that I've seen.

That is unless your idea of fun is a stream of idiotic and pointless vapid posts, repeating the same jokes over and over, being generally unfunny and treating DVDTalk as your personal playground. In which case, yes, the fun has left the forum, and you should consider if you'd be better off leaving, too.

I moderated the Oscar chat last year and it was a load of fun. Unfortunately, this year my WAP is down and I don't have a cable long enough to reach the TV from my switch so I guess I will miss it.
