That's poor logic. Many like me post more in these threads now that they have their own forums. The fact that there's a ton more threads on all the topics that were split off than there were when they were in other is proof that more people post in them when they have their own area.
not poor logic. My opinion

But if I posted a "Which DVD player should I get" thread in this category, it will immediately be moved into the "Home Theater" forum, no problem, but why don't Blind Buy threads get moved? True, there aren't pages and pages of them, but there seems to be a LOT of them lately. And I really wouldn't be so bothered if someone asked about an unpopular or older DVD (i.e. It may be hard to find a more recent review on The Mask of Zorro - Antonio B. or City of Angels), but whenever a Popular DVD is coming out, the Blind Buy threads start popping up...Why the need to ask everyone if Bourne Identity is a good blind buy when there is SO much info already out on it???

If you REALLY need to know wether or not to buy a "HOT' new release, then you really need to rethink your DVD purchases
they allow hot dvd player posts in dvd bargains when it probably should be in Hot deals. at times the mods allow a little grey area in posting if the posts do not overwhelm the forum or really get out of hand.

I gather this is why they allow these types of threads

It's your opinion that you don't like it that way.

It's a matter of fact whether or not the topics have more threads now than when they were in other, which they do.

Well, this whole Blind Buy contoversy has just TOTALLY turned me off to this entire site. Since nobody can take a joke, I am seriously considering unsubscribing to these threads and never returning.

Goodbye all, it's been fun...well, at least it was...

I didn't want to assume, but that's what I guessed. The "bind buy" jokes, which, in my opinion, weren't really funny to begin with, had been beaten to death in record time in this thread and at least one other.

Incorrect. I knew that thread would be closed. Something else just irked me the wrong way and I wasn't really appreciative of it.

Which is why I said probably.

I thought you were leaving?

Or is this just another ploy for more attention since you are playing this pussyfoot game about what irked you.

Strange ... I always thought DarthMarklar was a guy ... but "Guess Why I'm Mad" is definitely a lady's game.

Alright... well, if you really want to leave, let me know via e-mail and we can unregister your account. Otherwise, don't play these games.

Don't you negate the term "blind" buy when you ask for a review and, thus, in a way, are "seeing" what it is you are purchasing? I thought that "blind buy" meant just picking something up because you think the box looks neat at least that's how it always was with cereal when I was a kid. That and the free toy inside!
