Request for a LOTR:Two Towers forum

I figured since the latest Star Wars got one for a limited period of time, it would be reasonable to request one for LOTR this time around as well.

Yeah, I reckon we'll need one to keep the forum nice and tidy.

Definitely be a good idea. TTT will generate at least as much discussion as Episode II.

Plus the Episode II forum worked great. It kept the star wars haters from bitching about all the threads, and let the fans discuss until their hearts content without dealing with lame "one and only threads" that have pretty much ruined a lot of topics here for me.

I doubt we really need one. Much like all the "new" movies there will be a slew of questions about it at first, ebb and flow as randy says.

We should just do what the HTF does, consolidate the entire discussion to one huge thread. They have a single 155 page thread for Episode 2.

I'm for it. I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions to ask the Tolkien experts after watching it even though I finished TTT a couple of months ago.

Instead of just a two towers forum how about a LOTR forum.

Jeez, are any mods reading this thread? There's LOTR threads popping up all over the place in this forum!

Doesn't "Bump For The Mods" seem like a great potential catchphrase? Kinda like "Baby Got Back" or "Getting Jiggy With It"?

"Bump For The Mods," layyyyyydiees!

Actually, if it isn't hard to set up, a separate forum for a few weeks wouldn't be a bad idea.

oh - almost missed it.... if I may be so bold - moving all the current threads into there would help ("where are all the LOTR threads????") with a pinned/closed item saying "look up a little further, stupid..."
