Count me in for not liking the new logo. The color doesn't match the color scheme of the rest of the site, it's too bright. I agree with the sentiment that the logo shows no imagination. While I think that this logo is a good TEMPORARY solution to the infringement issue, I don't think it should be permanent.

Open a contest for members to design a new logo. The prize could be a free lifetime membership to dvdtalk or even a dvd.

Go back to the old logo. How much would it cost to be allowed to use the "DVD" logo? Couldn't be all that much. I mean, it's on everything. Could someone at least link or email me the old logo? It's not in my browser cache anymore and I feel lost without it.

My only suggestion for the shop is for the logos on the hats and shirts to be smaller. Having done a fair bit of shirt design in my day I can say that it always comes out a lot bigger than you'd imagine and a big honking logo on the belly of a shirt doesn't look as good as a nice neat logo centered on the chest.

put me on the list as someone who likes the new logo. and hows this for a plug? the great thing about my company is that i dont have to enforce dress codes. in my line of work....hats kind of fit the criteria. anyway, i'll be buying one and a few other things to show my support for the sight. You're all just as addictive as dvd's!!!

In any case... too cartoony. And the blue gradients overlapping like that... well, my graphic design professor would have shot me, I'll just say that.

And with that being said, I can't stand that new logo. I'm not a graphic artist, but I know what I likes, and that ain't it.
