Why must I log on for every post?

I guess this is the right forum...

Why do I need to log in EVERY time I want to post? When i first started comming here it was only the first time I posted during a visit, now (as of a week ago) I have to log on every freakin time. I couldn't find anything in my profile to cause it.

I also wish as soon as I visit the site I am automaticly looged on from this computer. Most other sites I peruse have this feature.

Actually you'd want the feedback forum or possibly the Computer forum.

But, the cause may be that you have cookies turned off. If they are not turned off, try exiting your browser, delelet all cache files and cookies. then start the browser and log in and make sure it saves the login.

I'm trying to remember, but I think there was an option to log you in each time... I'll have to look in my user profile.

Actually it's probably better off in the Feedback forum. Off hand I would say make sure your machine is still accepting cookies properly. There is also a login prompt on the main page, try using that instead of typing it in w/ a post.

Vryce,

you're right. There's a profile option that enable auto login when you return to DVDTalk.

this is somewhat related...if i'm on another computer or logged out and i want to post a reply i type it up, put my user name in the space below it and then my password. when i hit submit reply it takes me to the page that says i'm not logged in and makes me do it again. then i have to back track and rewrite my post again. why have that stuff below the quick reply if it doesnt work? this has always bothered me. thanks!
