They're trying to tell you something.

Actually, yesterday, for no apparent reason, I was logged out - just had to log in again. Also, couldn't get the log-in from the Quick Reply box working...

i've been getting logged off all the time this week. and yeah, that log in at the quick reply doesn't work, asks you to log in properly then gives a you've followed an invalid link or something.

This is an FAQ

From <b>Blade</b>'s thread above this one:

http://dvdtalk.com/forum/misc.php?ac...1#clearcookies

http://dvdtalk.com/forum/member.php?action=logout

Is there still a problem?

I get this fairly often, on both my home machine and work computer. Sometimes I'll stay logged in for a couple of days, sometimes, I go from one forum to another and I get logged out. Annoying, but oh well..

I've been getting this problem as well. Thought it was just me, though, because I'm using Mozilla.

Have you tried installing the latest version of your browser? Or reinstalling the version you're currently using?

Had the problem also with Vbulletin forums. I use Internet Explorer 6 and changed the following settings to stay logged in

Maybe that could help you (if using IE 6)

I'm also having a problem with logging in and out.

My best friend, who posts under the profile 'Mautos', moved in with me a month ago. Anyway, we both use the forums and both use the same computer. Now, whenever I hit the 'logout' button beside the 'Logged in user:', it looks as though it's successfully gone through, but when I go back to post, I'm still logged in. So, effectively, for now, I can't post under my profile, and am permanently logged in under my friend's. Using I.E. 5.5.

Let me know if there's any easy remedy to this problem.

Thanks
Kevin, or the artist formerly known as 'Peat'
