How about new smilies?

There's so many smilies in different forums that can say so many things, I was wondering what the procedure was for nominating new smiles? I know a lot of forum sites have similar ones, some more than others, and some more topic-dependant than others, and I'm sure all of them "borrow" from one another freely, so here's my nominations, mostly from off-topic.net:

<-- (my fav that's not X-rated )

There's others there that are funny/x-rated/just plain evil but you get the idea.. what do you think?

(if there's been a smiley thread before, sorry for the repost)

Those are cool, but DVDTalk already has plenty of good smiles http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/misc.ph...on=showsmilies the most I've seen on any forums. Some people who want to express an emotion will find their own way to do so such as post an image. I know Buford T. has psoted some funny ones.

Meanwhile...

I personally think all of the existing smiles should be changed to this one:

Well, since the topic is open:

I'd like to see a crying smilie.

And a chinscratch smilie (as in "Hmmm..." from the Dell Twerp).

I disagree. With a crying smilie, we'd have an alternative to those big crying baby pictures, and frankly those are the best parts of some threads around here.

See my point? This thread's value has increased dramatically with not one, but two crybaby pics.

The picture was the intent, not the surrounding words ...
