Attack of the Killer Pop-up

<table border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 width=100% height=100%>
<tr valign=middle><td align=center><script language="javascript" src="http://pollserver.interpolls.com/cache/wb/v/inter.poll"></script></td></tr>
</table>

No matter what I click or where I go, it pops right back up. That discussion we had about pushing things too far ...

Couldn't agree more. I know these are coming, but I really think you should try something along the lines of SA.

They have a great little system over there. $10 for life, $20 for a Platinum, and for $10 you can change other user's custom titles, for $9 you can have your own banner ad, etc.

These pop unders suck. Everything I do I get a pop under

Yeah, I just mentioned this in the other popup thread a little while ago. Pretty freaking annoying.

Can someone please email me if these go away? I find them to be as annoying as telemarkers and can't take it constantly.

I'm outta here for now.

_damn_ annoying, but at least Pop Up Killer does take care of it,
as it isn't a pop under, unlike the discover card ad, which I don't mind. This one is pretty annoying!

Neitzl

ps I did get an question correct though!

Here's what I just posted in other:

If I have any outstanding thread posts to reply to, they won't be anytime soon.

I have a few pet peeves in life. One of them is telemarkters. I think they are the most evil of parasites on the planet. I know people who are now having to pay for cell phone charges because of them! I know they will probably fight it, but unitl there is some legislation, that could be a problem for many.

Another big one for me is pop ups and pop unders. I understand that Geoff needs to make money to keep this place going. And as much as I hate them, he did say that he would keep them to once every 12 hours or something like that. Tonight I've gotten one every page. I hate them with a firey passion.

As much as I really enjoy all of my "friends" here, I hate these things too much to put up with them. I posted in a thread in the feedback forum and mods, if you want to close this, go ahead.

If someone would drop me an email if these go away, I'll be back. If I don't hear from anyone, it's been a grand pleasure "talking" with many of you. But, if they don't go away, chances are VERY high that I won't be back. I can't stand these things and as a general rule, I don't use sites that use pop ups/unders. I really don't get them much on Yahoo and I use Yahoo only to check email.

I didn't just want to drop off the face of the planet without say anything to anyone. I bid you good evening. Feel free to email me if you like.

All you need to do is just keep it minimized and you wont see it when you keep reloading these pages...not very hard....

...or just download Pop-Up stopper, and be done with it...

One would think it would be more of a pain in the ass to actually goto a different site and actually cancel an order rather than minimize a window....but what do I know

Wow, there's a lot of whining going on in here.

As I said, leave the pop-up open and it won't "pop up" every time you go to a new page.

What <i>I</i> want to know, though, is...

<b>IS IT JULIET, DIANA, OR LYDIA??</b>

I guess I'm just lucky. It only came up once for me.
