Why can't I vote in polls?
For the past week or two, every time I try to vote on a poll, I get this message:
<i>The action you have attempted could not be performed as your session appears to be invalid. Click the below link to attempt this action again with a new session.</i>
I'm logged in, and I've tried hitting the link to try the action again, but it never works

I don't know why you're having that problem. I did see the same message once within the last week (for the first time) but a page refresh fixed it. I wasn't trying to vote though.

Well, it's happening again.
Now, even when I clear all of my DVDTalk cookies, it asks me to log in and then gives me the error message again.
I'm really the only one having this problem?

This is just a shot in the dark, but do you use adaware? If not, try downloading it from www.lavasoftusa.com and running it. Then try clearing your cookies again.
I'm thinking that some site may have messed up your cookies with spyware and maybe that's what's causing the problem.

Ok, I downloaded AdAware and scanned, deleted a whole bunch of files (although I did leave some that were marked "other" because I wasn't sure what I was deleting).
Didn't work.
I then used another computer to access DVDTalk - no dice.
Is there anything else I could try? Should I delete everything AdAware tells me is suspicious?

Yep.
I'm going to have to ask Geoff to take a look at your situation. Might take a couple days to get an answer though.

I get the same thing when ever I try to vote in a poll, but I put the blame on my use of <just shoot me> AOL </just shoot me> because if I open out explorer I can vote till my hearts content.

Wow! That worked! I'm still wondering why it won't work on AOL all of a sudden. I've been replying to polls just fine for nearly three years.

Fixed as in you fixed the quote, or fixed as in you can now vote in polls? I still can't use AOHell to vote, so it must be the former.
I agree whole heartaly by the way.
