How about making Seeker a demi-Mod?

Let him delete and modify posts so he can keep the Amazon coupon sticky thread to a manageable length. It's on Part 3 now and stretched to 2 pages. I'm sure he would use his new powers for good, and not for evil.

Or, he could just e-mail the moderators for assistance.

I wandered over here to ask the exact same question. Can someone could help Seeker out w/ the thread? My favorite reply is the one telling someone how to delete their post. The original post is gone, but the reply with delete instructions remains...

Has Seeker e-mailed the DVD Bargains moderators yet about this problem? If that hasn't worked out, have him try e-mailing some administrators.

Being a Demi-Mod wouldn't be bad.... but...

here's my stance... I'd love the thread to stay short, and I could de-maliboo the thread by asking the mods to delete the extra stuff, but I'd rather people do it voluntarily as opposed to me "tattling" on them and having a mod crush the life out of the old messages.

of course if i were a demi-mod, I'd probably do go ahead and blow them away (absolute power corrupts absolutely).... i just don't want to have to go "please purty please delete all the crappy messages for me...)

As it appears to be going however, there won't be any coupons anyway soon....

It's not tattling... it's just asking a forum moderator for help on something you can't do. It's unfortunate people think that talking to moderators and asking them for help amounts to "ratting" on forum members. I'm just glad I'm still cool with everyone, like before I became a mod... right guys?

Guys?

I don't know if you're being serious or not, but I figured I'd clear this one up before it got any momentum... that's totally false.

Heh.. sorry I thought the absurdity/joke was obvious... So what did happen to Frankie anyway? Has someone kidnapped him?

Well, he'd have full email privileges... just like he has now.

If it helps, we can call him Overbaron of Email or something equally spicy.
