Starting just today, every so often I've been getting pop-up ads when I click on the forum. I checked my computer for spyware with ad-aware and cleaned that out but just got another couple from Cingular. Is anyone else getting these?

The pop-up ads seem to be coming up intermittently. Hmm..

Cingular brings one up every time when I enter/refresh Other...

Pop-up ads is their way of "self expression"

If it is a DVDTalk advertiser, it wouldn't be bad as a banner ad. But, pop-ups suck.

I dont mind the occasional popup, if it helps keep the otter farm running
but it seems like Im getting them constantly now.

Yeah.. whenever this ad is displayed, the popup in WhoGirl's post accompanies it.

As stated above, it's annoying, but if it helps DVDTalk survive, i'll live with it..

I too don't mind it if it supports our lovely community
but I had 4 of them lined up when I forgot to close them for a few minutes.

Grrrr. These aren't supposed to run on our site. I'm sure they're coming from one of the ad networks.
