A Poll forum?

A Poll forum?
Maybe it has already been suggested, but I think it is a good idea. helps reduce the clutter in the other forums, but it would also be good for the polls too. People who actually do go to the poll forum could quickly go through the lists and vote on many polls. Also the polls would be read by memebers of all the forums, making the opinions more diverse and more balanced. What do other people think?

Might help if we gave the people reading this thread, some way to vote, like a mutiple choice thing where they could click on choices. There could be a "Yes, we need a poll forum" and a "No, we don't need a poll forum" choices.

Nah, I'd rather bask in my knowledge that I am intellectually superior than all the bigots who have posted, and fool myself into thinking I am a lone warrior against the status quo.

It would be a pretty good idea. As several forums here sometimes get cluttered with polls. If I remember correctly HTF has a poll forum. Maybe someone that reads that forum more than I do can comment on how successful it is in terms of traffic in it and reducing clutter in their other areas? That said, polls haven't been quite as annoyingly numerous lately.

This site has a poll forum (2 actually), and they get alot of traffic, despite being alot smaller than this one. They also use the file attach and archive feature well. If only they could remove those stupid avatars.......
