Whenever I see a thread that obviously should/will be closed by a mod (but hasn't yet been closed), I tend to think, "Where are the mods?"
And whenever I see a thread that the mods closed and a link or offensive statement is removed before I got to see it, I think, "Damn."
You can't win.
It might be the beer talking, but... I'm really sorry. Keep up the good work. Rock on. (That last one was definitely the beer.)

vBulletin 2.0 has a 'Report post to this moderator' option where you can instantly point a moderator to a specific post in a specific thread, if that means anything.
