Thank you for the great job you did in running this Challenge again this year LJG765. You have developed a good method of changing the checklist around each year which I really appreciate. It has made for a more enjoyable Challenge for me and hopefully others. Thanks everyone for the posts made this year and congratulations Tarfrimmer for blacking out the checklist. That is an impressive feat and I am sure is very enjoyable. I may have to tackle it some year but I don't think I could finish it myself.

Alright, guys, this will be the last post for 2024! Recap time.
Including myself, we had 30 participants (and 1 spammer). 2 of the participants had no list/watches, but there was an average of 56.7 watches per contestant.
We had 10 people start a checklist, with half of them finishing it and ONE blackout. Congrats to Tarfrimmer who accomplished that!
Random facts: we had only one person who watch a Star Wars movie. Two who watched a Terminator movie, four who watched a Transformer movie, 14 who watched either a Star Trek movie or show and finally, four people who watched Tron.
Congrats to everyone who participated and here's to a great year! See you in 2025!

Blacking out the list is definitely an accomplishment, especially if you don't go into it planning on it. I wasn't planning on it to start with but since I finished it quickly (about 2 weeks in) thought to try, but just couldn't get enough watches in that checked enough sections.I believe you're the only one who added commentary on the film, if I remember right...I had to laugh when I saw it!
I'm somewhat annoyed that I'm one of the 4 who watched Tron and absolutely did not watch anything Star Wars or Star Trek in the month. In my defense, it was a new BR of Tron and I have no unopened Star Wars or "classic" Trek to watch (just a couple of seasons of the new Trek stuff that I'm in no hurry to watch).

I think a few of us were watching the new The Acolyte series, even if we weren't liking it. I liked it at times, like the Smilo Ren fights. Although I get the frustration with the story and characters.
