The 11th Annual Animation Challenge!
#126
Re: The 11th Annual Animation Challenge!
As I haven't heard back from two of the winners by the deadline, I am going on to the next two. When I used the random number generator, I took a screen shot of the numbers so I am still using that result.
The next two winners are: coyoteblue and Trevor! Please let me know that you are claiming your prize by Friday, Sept. 11th 11:59 p.m. central time. Remember you do need a US postal address and that you can pick your prize over at HamiltonBooks, $15-20! Congrats!

Heads up to the winners: On the 21st, Hamilton will update with new disc content, and also issue price reductions for some current inventory. Might be worth holding off a couple weeks.

Well...Good time to snag something before it sells out, then! (As my therapist will attest, I have mastered the art of reframing.)

Thanks LJG765 for running the challenge and organizing the prize selections. I've shared pictures of my prize choice above and also sent them (with my mailing address) via PM to GoldenWheels along with a thanks for all he does for the forum. Taking the time to browse the site at Hamilton Books has offered a reminder of many other things I'm interested in from them!

Thanks to LJG765 to hosting and to GoldenWheels and HamiltonBooks for sponsoring! I found out about the site due to y'all's sponsorship and have found many a bargain there! For my prize, I selected The Art and Making of Kong: Skull Island and The Making of Dunkirk. I'm a huge fan of these types of books!

Re: The 11th Annual Animation Challenge!
Sorry, KaBluie! I do try to give plenty of time to claim the prizes before going onto the next person in line. Over my years of hosting, I've found if I don't do deadlines, it could be weeks if not longer before someone responds. For instance, I still haven't heard a word from caligulathegod. I contact people in two ways...posting here in the thread and sending a private message.
Maybe what I need to do next year is remind people to turn on email notifications for either or both of those two options for people interested in claiming prizes. Would that have helped? Or a more blatant warning at the beginning of the challenge of a time limit in claiming them? I'm generally interested in a better way of contacting winners so this doesn't happen again!
Thank you! You're always so generous with the challenges, GoldenWheels!

Oh, darn. Thanks anyway. My fault for getting away. I had big plans for this challenge but real life got in the way. Great challenge and thanks for hosting.
