So. many. picks. You might even say there's a shit-ton of suggestions on post 9. I'm appreciative of those giving multiple picks, but the indecisive side of me is really feeling the pressure to get it right. That's actually not a bad problem to have.

I'm really excited about a lot of the suggestions, as I really want to watch most of these. I ended up getting the holy trinity of books (Analog Nightmares, Nightmare USA, and Firstenberg's Cannon book) earlier in the year. I think the heft of the package probably put the mailman on disability.

The results of the potential early start date...
1. OHMC 16 will start early - Tuesday, 9/15.
2. Stats are not official - they won't count towards the official tally.
You voted, that was the outcome. So many ways to go about it - leave the unofficial days unnumbered, restart the numbering process once you hit the official start date, or simply don't participate during this time and wait until the usual start date. Of course you can always join the discussion regardless of what you do.
Could be a good time to check out some longer horror docs or even get a head start on the commentaries/supplemental material.
Just for the record, everything else will pretty much remain the same, aside from an extra DVD Talk and Facebook reminder post. And no, I'm not putting "100 Movies. 45 Days." in the main title thread.
Also, I put the earlier mention of using unused themes during this time into action for those that want something other than a free-for-all. Plugged them all into random.org and went with the first 14 (currently unused) themes, and they are in order for the unofficial 9/15 - 9/29 dates:
