• This is for both new and returning, 2 themes.
• If you've already voted, no problem. Just remember there's been quite a few additions added recently, so please recheck the suggestions list on post 6 periodically. Occasionally new theme suggestions are added after voting starts.
• There's no limit to how many times you can vote, or how many themes you can vote for. The only "rule" is one vote per theme. You can do it in this thread, or if you prefer privately - PM or via email. Makes no difference to me.
• Also, keep in mind that some themes have unfinished or better lists/links coming. One such example is the Horror Movies in Horror Movies, which will be cleaned up with hyperlinks directing to the main thread later if chosen.
• Certain themes might have to be combined with another theme or two if they don't provide enough titles.
• And finally, don't hesitate to share any last-minute suggestion submissions, which brings me back to what was said earlier -- recheck the list periodically.
We're also down to 10 subset volunteer spots left.

If automatically including the 'Reoccurring Favorites' as theme days is on the table I do think it would be a logical change.
It might make sense to just count on those and should someone want to remove a 'Reoccurring Favorite,' or too many new suggestions are popular, to bring it up for a vote/discussion at that point.

The only one I'd hesitate on is Eurohorror because there are a lot of regions equally as worthy, maybe just do a rotation each year.

I'll wait to see how Australia/New Zealand fares before proceeding, but I think it'd make sense to do a separate round of voting for all the others after all (alongside the 1980's Video Companies Spotlight choice).

Here's the count so far...

European Passport to Terror - 6 times

Asian Buffet of Terrors - 5 times

Caribbean / Mexican / Central American / South American / Hispanic Icons - 1 time

Australia / New Zealand - 1 time

Canadian - 1 time

Some Scream Factory titles are currently $12.99 at Amazon:

And a few for $14.99 like Psycho II, Psycho III and Lake Placid.

And I'll be announcing the first round of themes to make the cut very soon (probably tonight). This year there's quite a few close calls, so please cast your votes if you haven't already.

Also remember the final round known as the 'elimination round' will require another round of voting to decide the tie-breakers.

Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 15: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checklist)

Additional new themes I'm voting for:

Litterboxed Devil Dogs (Cats & Dogs)
I Spit on Your Garage
Electric Brain Stew - Nepotistic Dogs Bullying Scarecrows
Random Maniacal Mashup of Insane Indecisiveness 2 - TV Terrors / Late-Night Horror Hosts / Aerobics Craze / Casinos
Playgrounds of the Damned
Junkyards & Construction Sites
Till Death Do Us Part - Wedding Horrors
Blood Showers

Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 15: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checklist)

The first clear-cut winners that made the cut...

NEW
 • Till Death Due Us Part - Wedding Horrors
 • 'Till Death Do Us Part - Wedding Horrors
 • Stranded
 • Pasties G-Strings, & Chainsaws - Strip Club Horrors
 • Frights, Camera...Traction!
 • Random Maniacal Mashup of Insane Indecisiveness 2 - TV Terrors / Late-Night Horror Hosts / Aerobics Craze / Casinos

RETURNING
 • Australian / New Zealand
 • Australia / New Zealand
 • Family-Friendly Horror

Looks like we're right on track with last year by getting first round results five days after voting kicked off. Only difference is we're doing slightly better by having one additional new theme. Till Death Due Us Part was the number one vote-getter with everything else a tie for second.

Keep voting. As previously mentioned, there's gonna be some very close calls.

Not to be pedantic (although it could be my middle name), but in the spirit of correctness, the correct phrase is 'til death DO us part.

Sorry to pick that nit, but it's in my nature.

While you're voting...

1. 1980's Video Companies Spotlight Choice?

A) VCI/United Home Video, 2 has been nominated (I like this one.)
B) Thorn EMI/HBO Cannon/HBO Video, 2 has been nominated (I like this one.)
C) Other (state your other choice here using this link -- Vestron Video, Embassy Home Entertainment, Media Home Entertainment, and Prism Entertainment already used.)

2. Which One Returns?

A) None. I'm content with just Australia/New Zealand, which just made the cut.
B) Coffin Joe's Caribbean, Mexican & Central/South American Cruise to Port Oblivion Featuring Hispanic Icons (2017)
C) The Asian Buffet of Tantalizing Terrors (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014)
D) The European Passport to Terror (2009, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2018)
E) Other (Canadian, etc.)

Sorry for lack of voting on my end. Haven't had a lot of chances to get to an actual browser on a laptop (this thread doesn't play nice with iPhone browsers.

I'll add a few of my votes shortly, and if its too late, then no problem.
