Anyway, I finished Star Trek:  TAS and I really enjoyed it. It definitely helped having most of the main cast providing their voices and the story lines were a lot of fun. Oh, and I'm finally getting the soundtrack out of my head. Watching the show a dramatic moment would start and I'd think, "Here it comes," and Da-da-daaa! Dloink, da-da-da-da-da-da-da. Da-da-daaa! :lol:

Watched Millennium Actress tonight. Liked it just as much as I did the first time.

Finished Back to the Future animated series last night, too, which I'm happy with. With that being finished, I finished my original list of discs to watch for the month. I have one or two more coming in from the library but that's about it, so I guess it's time to utilize Vudu and other online options to try to finish off the checklist. I do have a few more unwatched in my collection as well.

I did start Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker a bit ago. I've watched a few episodes of the series here and there, but never this movie. So far it's pretty good. Hoping it stays that way.

Does he ever do voices besides in his own normal talking voice? He sounds the same in Thundercats and Transformers: RID anyways.

I think Alan Oppenheimer would be a good one to add.

Just finished Tangled. I think it's probably my favorite Disney film. It always makes me laugh. "Frying pans. Who knew?"

Finally got the chance to watch Zootopia last night at a friend's house. It's quite a good movie if you haven't seen it yet. I went in having no idea what it was about and really enjoyed it. The animation is really amazing.

I just hit 100 with one of my favorite animated movies, Balto II: Wolf Quest, on Starz On Demand. I watched it for National Dog Day. The main reason I've always loved it is the Native American influence in the story, since I have always been interested in Native American religion. I also always thought the movie had a very touching ending.

I finally caught up with the Thunderbolt Fantasy episodes. Now I'll just have to bide my time and watch the new eps on Fridays, when they're released. Better than waiting weeks/months for a fansub or years for a dvd release. With any luck someone will release this bad boy on dvd or blu.

I think I'll probably end up with about 150 items in my list. It depends on how my weekend viewing goes.

I like this one too. I rewatched it earlier this challenge and enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. I thought the topic of not judging others for how they look was fairly appropriate/timely if a little heavy handed.

Wow, congrats on hitting 100! I'm almost at 70 and will hit that for sure, but probably won't hit 100 this time.

I watched The Legend of Prince Valiant for the first time. It has a great voice cast with Robby Benson, Tim Curry, Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., James Avery, and Alan Oppenheimer. The animation is a bit crude at times, but the storytelling is pretty good.

I've been watching a lot of G.I. Joe with the kids, even the DiC version. DiC is not near as good as Sunbow's version (except for Operation Dragonfire which I think is pretty good), but it is pretty kid friendly. It seems aimed for a little younger audience than the Sunbow version. I would have liked to have seen a Season 3 from Sunbow which supposedly would have had Tomax and Xamot in charge of a group called The Coil and also would have had the eventual return of Cobra Commander (like DiC did).

I probably will as next week will be busy for me, but it kind of depends on real life, unfortunately. I hope to though!

Good luck! I'm down to either 3 or 4 marks, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to complete them this year. Just didn't plan far enough ahead. I may re-watch some of the Japanese Academy Award Winners to make it, but I really prefer watching something new. Oh well.

I spent all day Saturday burning through all thirteen episodes of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (1993); I'd only ever seen the first two episodes for whatever reason. I think it holds up well. I was amused to see that the last episode of the series was a very loose adaption of Sorcerer (1977) of all things.

All the talk about KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS and its character who can make origami do super things reminded me of R.O.D. (READ OR DIE), which started out as a three-part OAV series in 2001 and was followed by a TV series sequel in 2003. Its heroines can turn paper into weapons, shields, aircraft, etc. Great show.

Last night I started working on Saber Rider And The Star Sheriffs. I wanted to watch more than one episode, but I was too tired. I know it's too late in the month to get too far into the series, but I'm glad to get at least some episodes of the show in since I used to watch it when I was a kid.

Getting close to the end of He-Man. Then I checked my shelf and saw I also bought the She-Ra sets too. Then I wept. Not sure if I want to tackle that next year or the year after. Is a year going to be enough time to get over He-Man? It's not bad but I feel like I'd get more out of this if I was a kid playing with the toys too.

It's still better than those one kids of cartoons where nothing moves and the characters lips are actually human mouths doing all the talking. I think it was a year or two ago I went through some of those for this challenge.

I can only watch He-Man a few episodes at a time. After that, I tend to zone out or play around on the internet.

I've got a few things out of the way! I finished the third (and final) volume of TaleSpin. I'd never seen the series finale before and did some investigating. Since the plot centers around a plot to start a war by framing Cape Suzette for an assassination attempt, it was censored after it's initial airing.

I'm also down to three animated features in my unwatched pile: Paprika, The Animatrix, and Akira. At the suggestion of shadokitty, I'm leaving Akira for Wednesday to coincide with the Criterion challenge. So I have two films to get to before then!

Yesterday, I watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 which was not as good as I remember. It is fun, but I'm not a fan of the film's villain or the opening "catching-the-audience-up" montage. Today, I watched Turbo which I enjoyed as much as the first time.
