I disagree heartily, This movie stands with other movies like "Stand By Me" etc. I feel you missed the point, if not the magic/real life/reality of the movie.

^ I went into that movie to see a cute Disney-style fantasy adventure, not a "real life" tragedy that left me feeling sad, not uplifted. Sorry, I just feel differently about it than you do. I'm entitled to my opinion.
