Sora no daikaijū Radon (1956) - Known primarily as Rodan, this was my first viewing of the original Japanese version. Love the tension and uncertainty building up to the reveals.

The Virgin Spring. First viewing... and it was moving beyond comprehension. Truly, one of the best art films with a soul for storytelling, character, subtle use of music, gorgeous cinematography, and many important questions that you will long be left thinking about after the film is done.

That was my first reaction when I saw the flick in the early 90's. Then I read the book (no easy/small task), saw the movie again and the experience was increased tenfold. The book and movie complement each other beautifully, the former with background details the movie skips and the latter with striking visualizations of Burrough's dense prose. Easily Cronenberg's most ambitious movie to date, one in which he succeeds more often than he fails.

Missle to the Moon (1958) - Very low budget, Ed Wood-ish quality to it. Watched it twice, once with rifftrax, both were funny.

C.O.P.S. Volume 2. For a 1980s cartoon series, it has held up pretty good. I've been enjoying it.

Surveillance: Even though the film was extremely predictable, it was a fun ride while it lasted.

Live Feed: At least Ryan Nicholson's films got slowly more fun after this.

Le Combat dans L ' ile - When this came out about a month ago I was literally the only one here that bought it. Neo-noir, French new wave, Jean-Louis Trintignant, the stunnning Romy Schneider, & always enjoyable Henri Serre, thats enough to get me excited. Lackluster score but a very enjoyable film.
