Whoa...its been so long since I posted here. I can't believe I remembered my username and password. About 10 years later + 2 children (now 9 and 6) here is my first post in ages:

Last DVD was Battle Royale. Friend came over and he'd never seen it, we were on kid duty (they were all in bed) while the wives went out.

Last BluRay was Royal Tenenbaums...gets better every time.

Rudderless. The first movie directed by William H. Macy, it starts out as a feel-good music drama ala Begin Again and then morphs into something much different.

I'm revisiting the Charlie Chan series this week. It's been long enough since i've seen them that they are "fresh" again.

I was really liking it for about an hour, the music is pretty good considering that Billy Crudup is actually singing it. A revelation is made in the plot that took me by surprise, it's not a good kind of surprise. The music drama was enjoyable for the most part.

Last regular DVD I watched, after catching up on the past few South Park seasons on Blu-Ray:

Critics were WAY too kind to this one. Could've been so much better.
