Les Mistons, and Antoine & Colette. Both amazing short films from the master Truffaut. I honestly cannot think of another director who moves me more.

Event Horizon - How can Paul W.S. Anderson be responsible for this? Must be some fluke because I think the film holds up incredibly well, has some truly chilling moments and lots of great effects. Oh, how I wish that unrated footage was still around.
