In spite of what the rules say, you CAN watch a movie more than once. You just can't count it more than once.

I haven't seen Toys in probably 20 years, but from what everyone is saying it wouldn't count, but it can count if you use one of your wild cards for it.

And yes, a movie can only be viewed once unless you watch it with a commentary or something like that.

I think I might start with my annual viewing of Christmas in Yellowstone, though not positive. I was wondering if anyone else knew what they might be starting with?

That Nature special really is wonderful, our local PBS station shows it every year. I will have to find it this year, I usually start with all things thanksgiving before going into the Christmas stuff. I found Silent Night Deadly Night in the Walmart dump bin this week, I have never seen it so I am looking forward to watching that. Plus I have some Hallmark dvds coming in the mail this week. When will the list thread be posted?

I think it might be on YouTube. At least it was last year.

Christmas In Yellowstone is available at Feeln.

http://www.feeln.com/films/christmas_in_yellowstone

They've added a ton of Christmas movies this year. I'm guessing there's probably at least 50-60 Christmas movies.

I found it on youtube last night, so its still on there. I watched Silent Night Deadly Night last night, and it was good and funny but felt so sleazy at the same time. I felt like I needed a shower after watching it.

You don't have to sign-in with a TV provider. But the most recent content is locked.

I've got some Christmas movies already saved on my DVR, and I've got the whole week off next week--ready to start watching tomorrow!

I caught part of Donovan's Reef (1963) a few days ago, it looks like the movie or a fair chunk of it takes place during the holidays.

I can't wait for the local PBS Pledge Drive. Always tons of Christmas concerts.

Are we starting at midnight tonight, which is Saturday, or tomorrow at midnight, which is technically Sunday?

I'd like clarification too, as I thought it was tonight at midnight.

You two are the type of people who call stores and tell them about price mistakes, right?

No, I just started second guessing after the first post. I'm starting tonight.

Re: It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like The 11th Annual Holiday Challenge (11/21 - 1/1)

I got a later start to the challenge than I wanted to, with something eligible by virtue of it taking place in December. I watched an episode of Against the Odds, about a rag tag unit of engineers stopping Lt. Colonel Peiper's advance to Antwerp during part of the Battle of the Bulge in December, 1944.

I wanted to start at midnight but I was so tired last night so I didn't start until just now. But I am on my way!
