Looney Tunes not on any Golden Collection dvd
I have Looney Tunes Golden Collections 1-6 and wondered if there are any other sets out there that have cartoons not on these 6 sets.
Most of the dvd sets I've looked at contain rereleases from the Golden Collections dvds.

Re: Looney Tunes not on any Golden Collection dvd
If there aren't any that are solely new cartoon releases, I'd settle for mostly new releases (not on the Golden collections.

Re: Looney Tunes not on any Golden Collection dvd
Most of the single disc Looney Tunes cartoon compilations are reissues of cartoons already on the Golden Collection and Platinum Spotlight releases. For instance, discs like "Bugs Bunny and Friends" or "Tweety Pie and Friends" are just reprints of previously released cartoons.
The exceptions are the Looney Tunes Superstars DVDS:
1. Bugs Bunny: Hare Extraordinaire (All new To DVD)
# Title
1 Mutiny on the Bunny
2 Bushy Hare
3 Hare We Go
4 Foxy by Proxy
5 Hare Trimmed
6 *Lumber Jack-Rabbit
7 *Napoleon Bunny-Part
8 *Bedevilled Rabbit
9 *Apes of Wrath
10 *From Hare to Heir
11 *Lighter Than Hare
12 *The Million Hare Daffy
13 *Mad as a Mars Hare
14 *Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare
15 *False Hare
The asterisked cartoons are cropped to widescreen and are not OAR.
2. Daffy Duck: Frustrated Fowl (all new to DVD)
1. Tick Tock Tuckered
2. Nasty Quacks
3. Daffy Dilly
4. Wise Quackers
5. The Prize Pest
6. *Design for Leaving
7. *Stork Naked
8. *This Is a Life?
9. *Dime to Retire
10. *Ducking the Devil
11. *People Are Bunny
12. *Person to Bunny
13. *Daffy's Inn Trouble
14. *The Iceman Ducketh
15. *Suppressed Duck
Pepe Le Pew (3 of these were previously released on the Golden Collections DVDs. The rest are new to DVD)
1. Odor-able Kitty (1945)
2. Scent-imental Over You (1947)
3. Odor of the Day (1948)
4. For Scent-imental Reasons (1949)
5. Scent-imental Romeo (1951)
6. Little Beau Pepé (1952)
7. Wild Over You (1953)
8. Dog Pounded (1954)

15. Who Scent You? (1960)
16. A Scent of the Matterhorn (1961)
17. Louvre Come Back to Me! (1962)

Re: Looney Tunes not on any Golden Collection dvd
Look at the wikipedia listing for each decade of Warner shorts and it will tell you which cartoons on which sets.

Re: Looney Tunes not on any Golden Collection dvd
I wish the Warner Archive would pick up the Golden Collections beginning the Vol 7. There were plenty of restored cartoons on the Platinum sets that were not on any of the Golden Collections. Plus the Bugs and Daffy cartoons from the Superstars discs that were not OAR. They could throw in some unrestored cartoons as a bonus as long as they are in decent shape.
