My pathetic list is finalized. Just way too busy this year. I thought about just throwing in the towel, but I went through the trouble of writing crap down so I figured I might as well enter it to at least chronicle what little I DID watch.
RANDOM STATS:
4 = Movies watched in their entirety (2 Blu-ray, 2 Direct TV)
6 = Movies not watched in their entirety
0 = First time movie viewings
19 = TV shows or TV Specials
4 = Halloween related Events
1 = News programs that I was on as Michael Myers

Ok so I finally finished my list. Been so lazy lol
I'm still disappointed of my results. I did half of my goal.
It was a fun filled all around horror month of family and friends.
Did haunted houses, farms, parties and horror theme photo shoots. Thus maybe killing my time at home to get in some movies. I figure I will do well being I have a tablet and watch some movies going to work and on my lunch breaks.. I did poorly with that lol.
Also I did fall asleep on some movies and didn't finish them. Some I was watching and just turned it off. So that was a waste.
This year , I dunno if I'm getting a little tired of horror but some movies were so bad and boring to me. Didn't enjoy alot. Some were ok. Also I felt I wasn't so active here like before. Maybe it was with time or just to bored of the challenge.
Anyway, I still gave in some effort and hopefully I will be back next year. I always look forward to this. So see you guys next year :-)

For November's challenge, I've watched exclusively Asian horror comedies. Movies, that is.

I only watched 49 horror flicks for the challenge, which is a lot for me, but dwarfed by some of our participants' lists. I tend to get a little burned out towards the end of the month, so I haven't watched anything horror since the challenge ended. I also want to save up some good selections for next year's challenge so I'm not reduced to watching awful STDVD flicks from the bargain bin at WalMart like some of our poor participants.
BUT I'll probably watch the Conjuring later this month if the BluRay goes on sale for Black Friday.

Commentaries listened to: 1
I didn't watch nearly as many FTV as I'd have liked to. I start my new job next week, it was kind of nice being unemployed during October, there's no way I could have watched over 100 films if I was working retail like last year...That job was scarier than any horror film I could have watched.

Reminder that tomorrow night (11/15) is the deadline for list completion.
Also, vote! Don't forget to submit yours for the best list if you haven't already. Not very many have so far.
About to watch Some Guy Who Kills People. First movie I've caught in days.

My list is final. Well except for some formatting and links and such. But the important stuff is done. And BONUS, I discovered I had counted Friday the 13th 1-3 as one movie, so with that straightened out I'm up to 123. Cool number.

Going to finish my list tonight. Since like the 30th, haven't been on. Not sure if I'll get my reviews in, but at least I'll have the list done. I hit over 100, but got to make sure I list the movies to hit the theme nights.
I found out on the 31st my friend loves horror films, so we've been smoking in his car with my laptop watching horror films throughout this month. Would have been amazing to do last month....

My list is final, here are some highlights:
Standout Favorites: The New Daughter | Atrocious | Dolls | Thunder Cops | Spider Baby | Outpost: Black Sun | Happy Birthday to Me | Love Bites
Movies That No Longer Exist to Me (Because They Suck Horribly): Killer Tongue | Devil Times Five | The Antichrist (1974) | Mr Hush | Island of the Fishmen | Mystics in Bali | Nightmares (1980) | Devil's Carnival
Much Better than Expected (Based on Lies Reviewers Told Me): Mama | Texas Chainsaw 3D | The Last Exorcist II | Sadako 3D | Manhattan Baby
Mind-bending Surreal Absurdities (Good): Society | Resolution | Eyes of Fire | V/H/S/2 | Twixt
Scariest (Most Immersive and/or Creepy): Atrocity | Mama | The Caller | The Reef
Sleaziest Trash (Recommended on Nudity Alone, if Nothing Else): Seven Women For Satan | Devil Hunter | Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary
Puss Filled Goriest: Hatchet II | Final Destination V | Human Centipede II [Always with the sequels upping the gore]
Statistics:
My vote for best list goes to J. Farley, browsing his list there are a lot of interesting comments about films I've never heard before. Second place goes to SterlingBen for the images and commentary. Chuckd21's video reviews are great. Dcrw6's quotes and death tallies worked well too. Cheers to everyone who wrote comments about the films, I enjoyed reading through much of those!

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 9th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (Oct 1-31) P
I feel like a publicist for this film now, but I went to my third (yes, third. I feel like such a creeper) screening of Stalled the other night where they were having a Q&A which was getting recorded for the DVD. People who asked questions got props, so I asked a question and after finding out it was my third screening, they wanted to give me the best prop. So I got one of the hats (he let me choose between a bloody one and a clean one, obviously I chose the bloody one):
and got a photo with the director and lead actor:
So if anyone watches it in the future (and hopefully doesn't hate it), you can bathe in the knowledge that I'm the proud owner of one of his hats
Ok, I just wanted to share because I complained at some point last month about being too shy to ask people for a photo and I finally managed to do it.

Lots of good lists, and as usual having trouble determining which to vote for. I've got to read through a bit more first. I'm giving priority to those with written reviews directly in the thread this year (even though I opted not to do any myself this year in the interest of time).
Do we have a deadline for voting?

***Prize winners have been chosen! Check your PMs and emails (if applicable).***
As usual, you won't know what you won or from what category until the results thread is posted. There's a limit of two prizes per person and four of you won twice.
And for those wondering, this is how I went about determining the Hamilton Book prize packs...
Prize Pack #2 required three qualifications: 1) Participated in 5 or more challenges 2) watched 50 or more and 3) completed at least one of the optional lists.
Prize Pack #3 was the complete opposite - Everyone who ACTIVELY participated.
